Dr Petra M. J Pollux
I work as a senior lecturer in the School of Psychology at the University of Lincoln. In addition to my interest in applied and experimental neuropsychology (in Dementia and in Parkinson’s disease), my research also concerns the cognitive and social neuroscience of processing social cues (e.g. facial and body expressions) for emotion recognition judgements and how these skills change over the life span. My teaching-related responsibilities include module lead for the MSc Research Methods and Skills modules in Psychology and my teaching (including supervision of undergraduate and post-graduate projects) focuses on topics within the field of Social, Cognitive and Applied Neuroscience.
